Paintings & Drawings

I only really started my artwork in 2013....i kind of knew i could draw and paint all my life (I am 61 years old btw)...but i was never motivated..too lazy i guess!..or never had the time and confidence!...Now?...I LOVE painting and drawing...and i am so lucky to have the time to do so!...i adore beauty....art should be about love and adoration..i am very traditional and have a very romantic ideal of what i think art should be..I want to draw and paint BEAUTY.....I must say I do not understand "Modern" art..i always go for the art Nouveau, the Pre-Raphaelites...

I began my artwork explorations with Alfons Mucha Art Nouveau renditions( because i love these designs and could not afford to buy the prints!)..then i started drawing doggies and cats for friends..I like to do pencil sketches recently too!....i am so confident now..I will have a go at absolutely anything beautiful!

This is at the moment a hobby of mine...for fun and pleasure.....but i have done a few commissions this year...some on panels, some  acrylic on canvas..and pencil sketches...I am pretty good at working from photographs...If there is an image you would like me to try my hand at please contact me ...and give me an idea what you would like to see!
